We are pleased to announce that the Pride Centre of Edmonton will be our Official Parade Marshal for 2013! The Pride Centre has been has been the cornerstone of the LGBTQ Community for many years and continues to provide tremendous support. Mickey Wilson, a long-time member of the LGBTQ Community in Edmonton has recently taken over the Executive Director position at the Centre and is doing some amazing work with the Board, support staff and volunteers. Please be sure to show your support of the Pride Centre and visit their booth at the Exhibitor Fair at the Celebration on the Square on June 8.
THANK YOU to all our supporters! We are one month away from kicking off Edmonton Pride 2013 and we are SOLD OUT of vendor/ exhibitor booths, parade spots, food vendors and entertainers. Since planning this Festival has become a year round project we begin accepting applications for entertainers in September and vendors and parade entrants in January. Be sure to like our NEW Facebook page for the most up-to-date information.
Thank you to all those who have generously stepped forward to Stand Proud in 2013. We are thrilled to announce that over 150 volunteers have agreed to donate their time in order to make Pride 2013 a success! Volunteers will be contacted directly with complete details.
